XDOG’S classic adventure triathlon returns to Maupin and the Deschutes River Valley Sunday, September 21st at 9am. Make it a weekend event in Maupin beginning with the annual Trike Races & BBQ in Kaiser Park at 5pm in Maupin. Check out the variety of overnight options - from hotels, to RV Camping to tent camping.
On Sunday:
*Start this race with a 1 mile downhill warm up run (bus compliments of Imperial Rafting)
*Get on your bike for a 26 scenic mile ride (total elevation gain just over 1800 feet)
* Bring your own kayak, SUP, canoe etc and PFD or reserve and inflatable kayak and paddle (or cruise) 3.5 miles down the beautiful Deschutes River (class 1 and 2)
*Finish with another 3.5 mile run back to home base at the Imperial River Hotel.
This adventure can be taken on solo or in teams. After events include a BBQ meal ticket, beer courtesy of Trap Door Brewing, dog tag medals and a unisex X-Dog ltd edition shirt.
